Alistair: In Game

Romance

What can I say, your desire is my command - Alistair, to the playing character

You want your female character to become an item with Alistair? Not difficult, even if you start later then from the beginning (like I did with my first character), you still can get his approval, by questing, answering right and giving him the right gifts, like his mother’s amulet, and later Duncan’s shield.

You need to keep in mind that he has to have approval high enough to get interested, he is interested just in women and that he doesn’t take relationships lightly, if you have a relationship going with Leilana and Zevran at the same time, while you are with him, he’ll confront you and ask you to choose between the three of you.

To get the approval high enough to start a romance, you need to compliment him, to banter with him, but do not call him an idiot or stuff like that, do not offend him, because, nobody wants to be viewed like that from the person they like.

There are two ways for get him in a tent, you can propose to do it, there is actually a line to ask him if he’d join you in the tent, while the other is, if you didn’t do the tent thing, when he’s approval is high enough, he’ll do it on his own, and that one made me laugh like crazy because, how can you not love a guy who propositions sex to you in that timid and shy and flailing way.

The beginning of the relationship will actually begin, when Alistair will offer a rose, and have this corky dialogue, that if someone made one to me in real life, I would ask if he was kidding me or not. That one is a really beautiful speech, and there you have to be really attentive, if you want to have a relationship with him, because you could destroy all the hard work with just one comment, and put the approval to 0.

If you choose human noble for your character, playing everything right, it gives you the possibility to marry him and become a queen.
